Step Back in Time -  Come experience the story of the Endicotts and Reardons and their collections from ​​​​​​​earlier times.  Our museum located on Route 9 in Seaville, New Jersey highlights life in the region in the early 1900s and beyond. Visit a 1920's home including a parlor, kitchen, dining room, bedroom and children's room.   Enjoy exhibits relating to life, work, community and the greater world.  Enjoy memorabilia collected by the Endicott and Reardon families for over 100 years!

Our museum is open for visitors on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm from June 3 through September 25. Groups are welcome all year by appointment.  To make a group reservation please call 609-213-2862.   

Special Events for the 2024 Season 

June 18, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “Women’s Suffrage in New Jersey’ – presented by local historian, Pary Tell.  Learn about the courageous New Jersey women, some famous, some not so, who continued to fight for the  vote and the rights of women in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

July 9, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “Millie’s War – The Adventure of a Lifetime” – local historians and writers, Jim Talone and Steve Cole will present the roles of women in military service, particularly Mildred Jordan, a WAVE in WWII, who was a cousin of our Museum founder, Harriett A. Reardon Bailey.

July 23, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “The Doll Collection at the Endicott Reardon Family Museum”— Doll expert Maryetta Dorricott, Museum Trustee, will identify and discuss the extensive collection of vintage dolls held in the Museum, along with the fascinating stories that accompany each of them.

August 06, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “The Dennis Creek Landing and Shipyards”— Presented by Michael Conley, local historian, old home researcher, and lecturer. The once active 19th century port in close by Dennisville and shipyards where vessels were built, launched, and towed from Dennis Creek, all a cultural hot spot.

August 20, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “Talk ‘n Tea – All About Glassware: Depression, Brilliant, and Beyond”—Vintage glassware from the Depression era and beyond, presented by Antoinette L. Braca, Museum Trustee and collector, with brilliant colors, ornate patterns, and shapes, all followed by Afternoon Tea.

September 10, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “Mary Treat: A Biography” Book author Deborah Boerner Ein will discuss Mary Treat, a groundbreaking naturalist and scientist from Vineland, who discovered new flora and fauna, including three species of ants, named in her honor. Book signing follows the presentation.

September 24, Tuesday, 2 p.m. “On the Shellpile” A documentary film about the South Jersey oyster industry in the Delaware Bay marshlands of Cumberland County, it chronicles life in this unique African American community. Presented by Rachel Dolhanczyk, Museum trustee and Bayshore Center curator.

All Special Events are free, but Reservations are required.
